Measurement Before Decisions

Applied Peptide Therapy organizes its practical discussion around four steps: Qualify, Quantify, Measure, Monitor. This overview introduces the sequence and its limits.

  1. Qualify the question

Clarify the concern, the goal, and the context before selecting an intervention. Identify what you want to understand and which questions belong in a clinical discussion.

  2. Quantify the starting point

Make the goal specific enough to evaluate. Record relevant history, existing information, and the outcome you would want to follow.

  3. Measure with context

Discuss which measurements are relevant and how they should be interpreted. Document the timing and conditions of the baseline, including factors that could affect the result.

  4. Monitor and reassess

Decide in advance what will be reviewed, when it will be reviewed, and what would prompt a change in the plan. Record other changes that could influence the outcome.

What a baseline does not establish

A documented starting point does not demonstrate that an intervention is appropriate, safe, or effective. Measurement quality, interpretation, and evidence that acting on a result improves outcomes are separate questions.
